Fairport, New York

After dinner Friday night, my husband and I, along with our younger daughter, Grace, and her boyfriend, Anthony, went to the nearby town of Fairport, which lies along the historic Erie Canal. Fairport has done a wonderful job of maintaining the quaintness of a village, but still having all the modern amenities. It was an exceptionally busy night, as tonight was the beginning of the weekend's Fairport Canal Days. We enjoyed walking along the canal, snapping pictures, people watching, and eating ice cream.
The boat's name was interesting to me because of the spelling, but primarily due to the design between the "S" and "A".
