First Finish of 2012

This one has taken me a while to post because I've been playing with the pictures in My Memories software, which I won in a giveaway.

Deer in a Forest
Niky's Creations
from the 2011 JCS Ornament Issue

I stitched this on 18 count white Aida (the instructions called for 36 count linen) with DMC floss, and might finish it as an oval as I framed it in the above photo.

I'm hard (?) at work on another ornament, after which I have some gifts I need to stitch.

Very pretty, Ginny. If you keep this up you'll have to get an extra tree next year ! :)

Love this...simple and yet says wintertime. I have been neglectful with blogs again but looked through your entries. Lots of beauties! And I so enjoyed seeing your centerpiece. Your table looked very pretty and it was fun discussing it together.

Is there snow now so you can wear your neck warmer? I am talking to my mother and there is a ton of snow in Ohio. Maybe coming your way?
