Hang on to your hats, this is a complicated card!

This card is 9-1/4" x 3-7/8", and fits in a business-sized envelope.

To create my background, I used two colors of Distress Ink:  Tumbled Glass and Broken China, using this technique from one of my favorite bloggers, Kristina Werner.

For the pennants, I chose five different solid and five patterned papers from my scrap box, then cut them out using Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants and Nested Pennants.  I rounded the corners of the pennants using my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

I stamped the little stars (Flourishes stamp set by Inkadinkado) and the other motif (I don't remember what set that is from) in various ink colors - Memento Bahama Blue, Memories Green, Impress Cherry Pink, Stampin' Up! Elegant Eggplant, and Versafine Onyx Black.   The three balloons were colored in with Distress markers in Broken China, Mustard Seed, and Dusty ConcordTo cut the stamped pieces out I used Spellbinders Standard Circles Small.

The sentiment - from the Stampin' Up! set Itty Bitty Banners was stamped on vellum using Versamark ink, then embossed with Ranger Super Fine Detail embossing powder in white.   I cut it out by hand.

Are you still with me?  I cut a piece of yellow embroidery thread, tied bows in either end, then used Tombow Mono Multi Glue to adhere it to my card front.  After attaching my pennants along the embroidery floss, I placed some rhinestones in between each of them.

Thanks for sticking with me.  I love the way this card came out.  BTW, I gave it to my daughter, Grace, for her birthday.
