1. I love cats and would have at least half a dozen if I could.

2. I collect snowmen, although winter is my least favorite season.

3. My husband and I helped design and run a homeschool program at our former church from 1992 - 2007.

4. I took piano and flute lessons in my youth, but my church ministry in music has always been through singing.

5. I am a sci-fi fan, although it's mostly limited to outer space stories and the X-Files.

6. My mother taught me to sew; by 7th grade Home Ec, I was more proficient than any of my classmates (I suppose that's not saying much). I now sew much more and better than my mom.

1. I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in August, 1979 by watching a Billy Graham crusade on television.

2. My husband and I were engaged three months after we met and married within nine months.

3. I would love to be good at quilting.

4. I worked as a legal secretary before I was married.

5. My BA is in Religious Studies from Michigan State University.

6. I was deathly afraid of dogs until I was in my mid-late twenties, when I forced myself to get over my fear.

7. A surgeon's poor technique left me with permanent damage and arthritis in my right knee.

8. I cannot stand bare walls and surfaces, so my house is considered by some (hi, Grace!) to be cluttered.

1. I am a Stargate SG-1 fan.

2. My favorite colors are blue and purple.

3. I lived in southern New Hampshire from ages 4 - 19.

4. I learned more from homeschooling my two daughters than from 13 years of public education and another 4 years of college.

5. I was lead female singer in a church worship team for about 15 months; it was a life-changing experience.

6. My husband has Multiple Myeloma and resultant kidney failure.

7. My cat sleeps on top of me.

8. My favorite authors are Michael Phillips, Beverly Lewis and Karen Kingsbury.
